Taya is a registered counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). She has worked extensively with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds, focusing on substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, interpersonal trauma, stress and anxiety.
Her experience spans private practice and community services, including individual and group therapy, drug intervention programmes, and Employee Assistance Programmes for corporate clients. She is also a long-time volunteer with the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA), providing counselling, relapse prevention and psychosocial support.
